This must be the most delayed rave of all time for this product. Revlon Matte Lip Balms was released last year and there was a hype for this. I have read many reviews about this product online and I only had the chance to get one for my own just now.

Since it’s December, sale is everywhere! The original price is P575 each but since it’s on sale, you can get a P200-discount each if you are going to get two. You can choose from any variant that you want, either the Revlon Matte Lip Balm, Revlon Lacquer Lip Balm or the Lip stain variant.

I first went to SM Megamall and went to look for the Revlon Matte Lip Balm in Sultry at Watsons for this, but Sultry is already sold out. Thankfully, I tried checking at Robinsons Forum and I got the last stock! I also chose Standout as its partner since you need to get two to avail of the discount.

When I applied it,  the product glided smoothly on my lips and is very pigmented. I don’t treat this as a lip balm but a lipstick instead. As you know, my lips are always very dry and chapped but it never dried up while using this even if it’s matte.

At first swipe, I felt a slight tingly effect on my lips. Something like a minty feeling but it goes away quickly. Not that it’s uncomfortable, I actually like it! After 8 hours of wearing it, the color stayed put without fading. It only faded a bit after I ate noodles(hahaha) but it still has a slight tint left.

I don’t have a photo with the Standout shade on because I gave it to my boyfriend’s sister. It looked awesome on her and she’s currently loving it as well!

Verdict on the Revlon Matte Lip Balm

Overall, I am in LOOOOVE with this lip balm! Not only did it stay on for hours, but it never left my lips dry and chapped. I will definitely repurchase especially the one in the shade Sultry. It can act as an MLBB lipstick for me and I’ve been using it since on my everyday look.
