Another Life Lately post! I’m terribly sorry that I’m constantly writing posts like these. I guess my website is also my online diary. I just love looking back to these someday and compare what I was feeling at the time when I was writing each post. Lol.

So we’re now in the last month of 2018. Another year to come, another year to survive and life must go on. We age, time goes by so quickly, we continue to go on with our lives, continue to improve and so on… However, this generation makes me sad. Although I am taking advantage of the advances in our technology, our environment continues to suffer, social media is becoming toxic that it’s affecting our daily lives, most people are just becoming mean to each other, etc. etc. 

These are just one of the reasons why I love books. It brings me to different worlds, different times, different places. It’s some sort of an escape from the real world and the current situation we live in. I sometimes think I was born in the wrong era. I crave to see the past, I crave to live the lives of those who were born before us, I crave to see the beauty of the world before the drastic changes. Of course, it was not all pleasant in the past – there were wars, racism, women have no rights, education was limited but still… if only I have a Tardis so I can travel through time. LOL. *Doctor Who Reference*

Life Lately

READING // I’m so happy that I can finally afford the books that before, I was only wishing for. When I was in college, I’d go window shopping at bookstores and swore I’d buy as many books as I can when I’d finally get a job. However, since there are other priorities/hobbies, it is only now that I have fulfilled my promise. 

I’ve been reading Neil Gaiman’s books. You see, he’s one of my favourite authors. I already read some of them and I’m just re-reading because I want to. I’m so happy that I finally have a hard copy of the Graveyard Book and Stardust. I’m also looking forward to the sequel of Neverwhere. Hope he’ll release it soon. I’m also into mystery books nowadays. I noticed I’m not so into Romance unlike when I was in my teens. Maybe because I’m already satisfied with my love life.  If you’ll look into my Goodreads profile you’ll see that I’ve already added a list of books in the “Want to Read” section which I’m planning to complete on 2019. Oh, so many books, too little time…

WATCHING // I’ve been watching random movies where MY Johnny Depp is in. LOL. I recently watched Murder in the Orient Express and Into the Woods.

PLAYING // I looooooove THE ADVENTURES OF BERTRAM FIDDLE so much that I sent the developer a message on Facebook asking if they will release another episode. Unfortunately, they said they wouldn’t as of the moment. 🙁 Anyways, I bought the first and second episode for my Nintendo Switch and it’s available on Steam as well. It really is a good game with great voice acting and I love the funny puns. I’m still hoping they’ll release another episode though. I also recently got the Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! and it made me so happy because I think the last Pokemon game I’ve played was the Emerald version. It was so long ago, I no longer have no idea how Pokemon games work. Even though the game was made for Pokemon Go players to play Pokemon, for me it’s the other way around – I caught myself playing Pokemon Go because of  Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! instead. I also played Ragnarok Mobile when it was released on October 31st but now that I’m on a higher level, it made me lazy. 

FEELING // What do I feel right now? I’m not sure. Neutral? Excited for the holidays? Not really. I’m more of a Halloweeny person than a Christmassy one. I guess I’m just looking forward to my not-so-little brother to arrive before Christmas. 

EATING/ DRINKING // I’ve been eating a lot. Like, A LOT.  Remember when I told you that we’ll go back to Keto on my previous post? Well, guess what? We didn’t. Lol. I’ve gained a lot of weight again and it feels unhealthy. Anyway, we’ll “probably” go back to Keto again once the holidays are over. I’m also obsessed with wines nowadays. I dunno, I’m more into wines than hard liquor now that I’m getting older. When I was in my teenage years, I’d drink anything and it almost doesn’t bother me that much. (Thanks to my brother and sister-in-law’s drinking lessons. LOL).

PLANNING // Planning to get another cat…maybe this January? LOL. I guess it never stops? 

WRITING // This blog post…as always.

LEARNING // I’ve been very been lazy ever since I started playing Ragnarok. After Ragnarok, I’ve been obsessed with Bertram Fiddle, then Pokemon Go and Pokemon Let’s Go. After that, I went back to reading… So I’ve been so busy(lazy) that I’m not really learning anything new. 

DISLIKING // Still most people… I guess? Lol.

LOOKING FORWARD TO // My little brother’s arrival and our New Year’s celebration. Unfortunately, my dad and my brother will be celebrating Christmas at Bataan without us. Since I’ll still be working before Christmas Eve, it’ll be difficult to go with them because we cannot estimate the travel time. So, my husband and I will be celebrating Christmas at home with our cats and we’ll be celebrating the New Year together with my Dad and little brother(and cats, of course). Looking forward to my husband’s cooking! FOOOOOOD!
