Unboxing: Althea Philippines Korean Skincare Haul
I just recently did my very first purchase on Althea Philippines. If you want to learn more about their service, my experience and how to do your first purchase, you can read it on my previous post here. I previously mentioned that I recently became obsessed with Korean skincare products. I kept on watching youtube videos with Korean skincare routine and for some, I kept on clicking the play button again and again. HAHA.
That’s why I decided to finally try out Althea Philippines and do a Korean skincare haul. It was a smooth transaction and I was able to receive my items before we left for Baguio City. So we personally received the item from the courier. Hooray for that! Also, it came inside two large cute boxes!
So let’s start with the unboxing!
Korean Skincare Haul
The Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel (P180*)
This was the first on my list when I completed my purchase. I’ve read tons of awesome reviews about it online and was also recommended by most of the youtubers that I’ve watched. So of course, I went ahead and added this to my bag!
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask (P980*)
This product (is or has?) quite a hype even on western countries. There are tons who swore by this. It’s a bit pricey but I don’t want to miss out! So I added this in my Bag immediately. I also love its packaging and it comes with a tiny spoon stick for hygienic reasons.
Missha The First Treatment Essence (P1,350*)
While watching Youtube videos, I noticed that this is one of Korean skincare’s must haves. I can see this on Skincare routine videos or articles most of the time. I wanna try it for myself even if it’s pricey.
Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Foam (P370*)
There are raves about this product online and this is a must have for me. This facial foam claims to thoroughly clean your pores and is good for those who have oily skin.
Nature Republic Aloe Vera 90% Toner (P350*)
I initially wanted to get the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Toner. However, it was a bit pricey for P800 and I’m on a budget. So I decided to try this out first. Hope it works well on me. 🙂
Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask (P560*)
This is another must have for those with oily skin. So of course, I didn’t hesitate to get this! This is a clay mask which claims to minimize your pores, cleanse, exfoliate, brighten your complexion and control sebum. Sounds promising! We’ll see how it works.
Holika Holika Pig-Nose Clear Black Head 3-Step Kit (P80*)
I bought this for my boyfriend because he has huge pores and removing his white and black heads is quite satisfying. HAHA. Will post a review about this as soon as I’ve tried this kit on him.
Etude House Sunprise Must Daily SPF 50+ PA+++ (P400*)
This is the only daily must-have product missing on my routine. I usually just ignore sunblocks or sunscreens since I’m just working at home or even when I was out and about before, I just ignored them. However, I recently learned that this is very important because the sun’s damage on your skin can cause aging. It’s one of Korean’s beauty secrets that’s why they still look young even on their 30s. So, I added this on my bag with no hesitations. 😉
Raclia Half Cotton Pad (P80*)
This is a new arrival on Althea Philippine’s website. It claims to not absorb most of the product like toners or serums unlike regular cotton pads. So most of the product will go and absorb on your skin and helps save a lot of product.
That’s all that I got from my first Korean skincare haul and I’m already looking forward for the second. haha. I’ll start changing my skincare routine now and hopefully, these products will work on me.
