Preview X Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me Moisturizing Matte Lipstick Review

We must all remember to be humble and never underestimate or belittle the people around us specially when we are above them. If you are a leader, you must know how to get along with the people who are under you. Just because you are on top today won’t guarantee that you will stay there forever. So don’t flaunt it just because you have the power, but instead, use it to help the people who you are working with.

By the way, I wasn’t able to make a review online because there are a lot of things that happened recently. I already resigned from my current job and I am now trying to look for a job online. I prefer to work at home to lessen the hassle of going to work. Lol. It makes me anxious though because I haven’t received any response from the company or job listings I applied to. This is a risk I just took. I really hope it goes well. Good luck to me.

So let’s start with the review! Another Happy Skin product! I just got my first two Happy Skin Shut Up & Kiss Me Moisturizing Matte lipsticks. I was looking for a deep dark red or deep burgundy lipstick online and I came upon Happy Skin’s Hot Stuff.

I really love the shade so when I went to the mall, I headed out to Happy Skin’s counters just for this. Unfortunately, I was told that these are limited edition and they no longer offer this product. I was so disappointed.

Thankfully, when I bought the Happy Skin Strobing Kit at Zalora, I saw that they still offer the product! The Preview collection of their lipstick comes with the Hot Stuff and Too Cool shades. These are a limited edition matte lipsticks in collaboration of Happy Skin and Preview Magazine. Just like their other product collections, these were packed on a card board box. Such style.

The Hot Stuff as I was saying, is in a vampy deep burgundy shade. I totally love this shade! It’s perfect for night outs but I still wear it even in the morning. Because I don’t care what they say ~

I love the Hot Stuff shade!

Too Cool on the other hand is a peachy nude shade. I don’t usually wear nudes because it accentuates my dry chapped lips. I love this because it doesn’t make your lips dry especially if you have chapped lips. Nude lipsticks usually dries lips, but this doesn’t. What I do not like though is it makes me look dead and pale or anemic. Lol. You can use it to blend it with Hot Stuff if you want to tone down the color, blend it with any other darker shade lipstick or wear it with a bit dark nude lip liner instead.

These matte lipsticks are awesome! It doesn’t dry my lips and can last up to 4-6 hours on me. Even on a Matte formula, it is definitely not drying. It’s not totally matte and has a bit of sheen to it but it still looks amazing and moisturizing. Also, if you hate lipsticks that smell, well this is definitely for you.

Overall, I super love these lipsticks specially Hot Stuff! These are my first Happy Skin lipstick and thankfully, again, Happy Skin did not disappoint. I am very happy that I was still able to purchase it. I will definitely purchase more of their lippies! You can try your luck and check out Zalora if they still offer this.

You can purchase the Kit online at Zalora Philippines for P1,099. You may also visit Happy Skin stores or visit their website or their Facebook page.

I never tried matte lipsticks… Do they really last longer than other types of lipstick? Hope you found another job by they way!

Thanks, Renata! Yes, they do stay longer but may also tend to be drying on the lips.

I was able to try this out from a friend. It’s a pretty good brand. Though I wasn’t able to check on the shade. I’m planning to buy this soon, but I might check it in actual stores. 🙂
